Building The Digital Twin
Faizaan Ghauri, CEO of WRLD, led the conversation and expanded on the company’s beginnings from being a cross-platform SDK for enterprises to the launch of the Unity SDK. He then explained how the latter was a stepping stone towards designing realistic indoor and outdoor environments that connect with sensors and IoT data, which ultimately allows us to run accurate simulations at a mass scale.
Oliver Norton, CTO of WRLD, took the baton and explained the difference between the local coordinate systems typically used in games and cartographic coordinate systems used when working at global scale. He then went on to explain how the WRLD platform helps developers move between these local and global paradigms with ease.

Moving From Global To Local Scale And Back Again
